Dyslexia & ELA Reporting

Dyslexia Reporting

Indianapolis Public School Corporation utilized interventions by the following organizations for the 1807 students who were determined to be at risk for characteristics of dyslexia:

  • mCLASS
  • Spire/Sound Sensible
  • Orton Gillingham
  • UFLI 

As required by Indiana Code 20-32-8.5, in the 2024-2025 school year, 4,766 students  were given the universal screener using mClass DIBELS. Of those 4,766 students,1,807 students were determined to be at risk for signs of dyslexia. IPS utilized SPIRE, Sounds Sensible, Heggerty and UFLI Foundations to support students who were at risk for  signs of dyslexia.
