Caitlin Clark Foundation Hosts Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway for IPS Students
Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) and the Caitlin Clark Foundation, in partnership with Eli Lilly and Company and Scholastic, hosted a Back-to-School event on July 14 at Anna Brochhausen School 88, providing students with backpacks and school supplies as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
The event was part of the Caitlin Clark Foundation’s Back-to-School Backpacks initiative, a program rooted in the Foundation’s commitment to education and ensuring students have the tools they need to begin the school year feeling prepared and supported.
Families who attended the event received backpacks filled with school supplies as well as access to free books donated by Scholastic through Impact Reading. Students and parents heard from school leaders, community partners, and Foundation representatives about the importance of investing in education and student success.
Back-to-School Backpacks events reflect a collaborative effort between local and national partners committed to supporting Indianapolis students through tangible resources and encouragement.
By easing some of the financial burden that often comes with back-to-school season, the event aimed to help families focus on what matters most: learning, growth, and opportunity.
