    Passes are required at all times during regular school hours.  Please do not come to the Bookstore without a pass from a teacher, academic director or a Vice Principal.  This includes lunch and passing periods.

    Charges made to student accounts for IDs are due and payable within the week a charge is made.  If payment is not received, further charge privileges are suspended until such time as payment is received.

    Student Fees and Charges

    High school students are accountable for the consequences of their actions.

    Book rental and certain other fees are due at the time of enrollment.  The estimated book rental fee is $180.00 for the school year; adjustments based on individual student schedules are made during each semester.  Choice program students should expect book rental fees to exceed the estimated charge.  Some classes may have fees or equipment costs that are not covered by book rental.

    Students are required to take proper care of their textbooks and other property of the school.  Textbooks are on loan for student’s use during their scheduled semester/year.  Students are responsible for the textbooks checked out to them by the Bookstore.  Lost books should be reported immediately to the Bookstore staff.  Credit will be given immediately when lost books are checked in at the Bookstore.  Credit for obsolete textbooks will not be given.

    Students must pay for textbooks or property they damage or lose.  In addition, $5.00 per book will be assessed for each book left in a locker, classroom or any other area of the building or grounds that is not turned in to the Bookstore at the requested times.  Students absent (or suspended) on scheduled book return days must make arrangements to have textbooks returned to the Bookstore.  A $5.00 fee will be assessed to clear out belongings, textbooks or trash out of each locker at the end of the school year.  Checks will not be accepted after May 1st of the academic school year.  Students who accumulate debt to ATHS will be referred to a collection agency.


    Each student will receive an initial ID to be worn around their neck at all times while on ATHS grounds.  Any replacement of forgotten, lost or damaged IDs are the financial responsibility of the student.  Replacement cost for the complete ID set is $5.00.  ID charges made to a student’s account MUST be paid within the week the charge was made.  Unpaid charges will result in suspension of charge privileges.  STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO POSSESS ANOTHER STUDENT’S ID.  The ID must be shown to ANY ATHS staff member upon request.  Any student without ID is considered out of uniform compliance and may be also considered trespassing – both subject to disciplinary action.
