I come to Shortridge High School after over a decade at Lawrence North High School as an IB coordinator and English teacher as well as a few years in university faculty development. The path to this job really started, though, in second grade, when I was accepted into a Kokomo, Indiana, educational program that opened up a world of learning. That program taught me that education can change lives, and as an adult, I've sought ways to offer the same kind of experience to Indy's students. The International Baccalaureate program and Shortridge High School are the best ways I've seen.
I'm a lifelong learner with coursework in literature, history, secondary education, higher education, and writing at Ball State, Indiana Wesleyan, IUPUI, and Butler.
